This iron allows you to select the fabric type by adjusting the temperature dial (viscose/polyester, silk/wool, cotton/linen). As the iron heats up, our temperature indicator light will illuminate. Our temperature indication light will turn on when the iron heats up. As soon as the light automatically turns off, you may begin ironing. If the light comes on while the iron is in use, it is only maintaining its temperature.
